Advice & Guidance (Levels 3 & 4)
An NVQ in Advice and Guidance is for anyone working in an organisation offering guidance services. If your job involves helping and advising others, the qualifications help you develop your skills and progress at work. There are options to suit any level, from people working in administrative roles to those with experience in advising on welfare, employment, education and other matters.
Level 3 is ideal if your role involves providing advice and guidance directly to clients, reporting to line management as well as associated services. You may also supervise and support other staff members.
Level 4 - choose this level if your role involves providing specialist advice and guidance to clients, reporting to senior management and networking with associated services.
Careers Education Guidance provided to schools
Our CDI-registered careers adviser provides career education guidance to secondary schools - depending on your requirements she can offer regular
monthly careeer advice days, or condensed intensive blocks of guidance sessions to coincide with key dates. We also train Career Guidance staff in schools to support CPD. We also assist schools in establishing career services delivered by their staff.
